Toyota Alphard Rental Rates 

Documents Required for Self-Drive Alphard Rental

- For Individuals (Thai Nationals):
• National ID card
• Driver’s license
• Credit card (used for initial screening)
• Round-trip flight ticket (if arriving by plane)

- For Foreign Nationals:
• Passport
• International or domestic driver’s license
• Credit card (used for initial screening)
• Round-trip flight ticket (if arriving by plane)

- For Businesses / Companies / Legal Entities:
• National ID card of the authorized director
• Driver’s license of the director
• Company registration certificate (issued within the last 3 months)
• VAT registration certificate (PP.20)
• If the registered capital is less than 6,000,000 THB or the latest financial statement is not submitted, an additional director’s credit card is required.

If the director will not be the one using the vehicle, please provide the following additional documents:
• Power of attorney
• ID card of the authorized representative
• Driver’s license of the authorized representative

- Security Deposit: 50,000 THB
The deposit will be refunded to the renter's account within 24 hours after the vehicle is returned.

Self-Drive vs With Driver – A Comparison

Self-Drive Alphard Rental Conditions

• Minimum rental period: 1 day. Each rental day is counted as 24 hours. For example, if the car is picked up on June 1 at 10:00 AM and returned on June 2 at 10:00 AM, it is counted as 1 rental day.
  If the vehicle is returned late, a late fee of THB 1,070 per hour will be charged.
  For returns more than 5 hours late, an additional full-day rental fee will apply.
• Rental extension: If you wish to extend the rental period, please notify the company at least 6 hours in advance and settle the additional rental fee immediately.
• Fuel policy: The car is delivered with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank.
  If the fuel is not refilled, customers may refuel the car themselves if time permits. Otherwise, the company will charge THB 321 for refueling service, plus the actual fuel cost.
• Insurance: The vehicle comes with standard first-class insurance, excluding loss of use charges.
  An optional SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) insurance can be purchased for:
  • THB 1,070 per day
  • THB 21,400 per month
    If SCDW is purchased and an accident occurs, the deposit will be refunded as usual.
• Security deposit: A THB 50,000 deposit will be refunded within 24 hours after the car is returned via bank transfer.
• Prohibited actions & penalties:
  • Bringing food or strong-smelling items into the car: Not allowed
  • Smoking inside the vehicle: Fine of THB 3,210
  • Bringing pets into the vehicle: Fine of THB 1,070
  • Leaving the car key inside the vehicle: Fine of THB 3,210 plus staff transportation fee
  • Losing the car key: Minimum fine of THB 21,400
  • Requesting a replacement car during rental period: THB 3,210 per incident
• Traffic regulations: The renter must follow all local traffic laws. Any traffic violations and fines must be settled by the renter within 3 days.
• Cross-border restriction: Taking the vehicle outside Thailand is strictly prohibited.

Chauffeur-Driven Alphard Rental Conditions

• Service duration: Includes 10 hours per day of chauffeur service.
• Overtime (OT) beyond the standard 10 hours will be charged at THB 856 per hour.
• Rental rates exclude fuel, expressway tolls, and parking fees (to be paid by the renter as incurred).
• Overnight trips outside the province: An additional THB 1,070 per night will be charged for chauffeur accommodation.
• Long-distance travel: The driver may need to take a break every 2 hours for safety reasons.
• Meals and lodging for the driver are already included – no additional charges for the renter.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
• Alcohol consumption and drug use on board are forbidden.
• Illegal items are not allowed in the vehicle.
• Traveling to dangerous areas (e.g., flooded zones, landslides, wildfire areas, or protest zones) is not permitted.
• The chauffeur will drive strictly within legal speed limits.
