What are the steps for renting an EV in Bangkok for beginners ?
 

Actually, renting an EV is not complicated at all. Just follow these steps and you can drive comfortably.

2. Check car availability - Book in advance to ensure you get the model you want.

3. Prepare your documents - The following are the documents for renting an electric car. Read them carefully to understand the documents and save time.

    General Public

    - Passport / Driver's license / Credit card / Round-trip flight tickets

    Legal entity

     - Certificate not older than 3 months / Por.Por.20 / Passport and driver's license of the director

    - Power of attorney / Passport and driver's license of the attorney (in the case that the director is not present to receive the car himself)

4. Receive the car and sign the contract with instructions - The staff will provide detailed instructions on charging and operating the electric car's various systems, as well as important terms and conditions you should understand in the electric car rental contract.

5. Use the car with caution - This includes calculating the distance traveled and charging points. We will not be held liable if the car's battery dies.

6. Return the car on schedule - Be sure to charge it to 85% or higher. Check your belongings and ensure they are in good condition. The staff will be waiting to pick up the car at the appointed time and location.

Important terms and conditions that new renters should know before renting an EV with Exclusive Car Rental

1. We will fully charge the vehicle upon return to 85% or higher. If the vehicle is not recharged, a service fee of 535 baht will be charged, plus the actual charging fee.

2. Rental periods start at 1 day and are calculated on a 24-hour basis.

3. Late return fees are 535-856 baht per hour. A further 5 hours will be charged as an additional day's rental fee.

4. If you wish to rent more than the original rental contract, please notify us at least 6 hours in advance so our staff can check the availability of the vehicle.

5. Do not drive the electric vehicle in areas at risk, such as floods.

6. If the vehicle is used until the battery is depleted, the renter must arrange for and pay for a tow truck to recharge the vehicle.

7. The vehicle can be used throughout Thailand.

8. The vehicle is covered by Type 3 insurance. If the vehicle sustains additional damage, the renter will deduct the full deductible from the deposit. However, if you want to reduce risk, you can purchase additional insurance.

    - SCDW Optional Insurance: Starting at 535 baht/day, covers the entire body of the electric car, but excludes tires, glass, interior, and theft.

    - Full Protection Optional Insurance: Starting at 749 baht/day, covers the entire body of the car, tires, glass, interior, and theft.

9. Pickup and return within Bangkok is subject to a 1,070 baht service fee.

10. Smoking is prohibited in the car. There is a 3,210 baht fine.

11. Pet fee is 1,070 baht.
